Summer Reading 2026

  HOW SUMMER READING WORKS:

  • Register or sign in to Beanstack here (https://vermillioncpl.beanstack.com/) or pick up a paper reading packet & tracking stickers at the library.
  • Track your reading from June 1st until August 1st in your reading packet or on your phone, tablet, or computer through Beanstack.
  • Participate in fun library programs all summer long and be entered to win fun weekly prizes!
  • Meet your reading goal to win a Summer Reading Swag Bag and be entered to win the GRAND PRIZE! (Summer Reading Swag Bags are stuffed with a book, stickers, highlighters, pens/pencils, an activity book, treats, and other assorted library swag. Grand prizes will be listed below soon.)
  • Winners will be announced in early August.
Promoting a reading program called "Unearth a Story," encouraging users to log reading via the Beanstack app or a reading packet.

SUMMER READING GOALS & AGE GROUPS:

  • Early Readers (Birth - 5 years old) - 100 Books
  • Children (Ages 6 - 12) - 600 minutes/10 hours
  • Teens (Ages 13 - 17) - 600 minutes/10 hours
  • Adults (Ages 18+) - 600 minutes/10 hours

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

  • Attend our kickoff program on June 4th and recieve a Summer Reading necklace or bracelet. Earn a new brag tag for each program you attend!
  • Be entered to win a stuffed Digby plushie by completing our "Digby Challenge!" Pick up a form and tracking stickers at the library today.
Kids can join the Digby Challenge by completing ten activities for a chance to win a Digby plushie! Grab a form at the desk!
